These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the CelestMap iOS app and the celestmap.com website (the “Services”). These pages are operated by the operator of celestmap.com. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of celestmap.com. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

This page is a plain-language EULA-style description for the website. It is not legal advice and has not been certified by counsel. Purchases in the iOS app are also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).

1. What CelestMap is

CelestMap is a tropical Western practice companion: timed Sky Sit, chart-grounded reflection, and a 7-day rhythm, with a tropical natal chart computed on your iPhone as the engine. Content is wellness-oriented and educational. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or a substitute for professional care. It is not financial or legal advice. It is not fortune-telling, not predictive certainty, not a daily horoscope feed, not sidereal Jyotish, and not a star-map astronomy app. You are responsible for decisions you make.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent or guardian’s consent where required). The Services are not directed to children under 13.

3. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the iOS app (as downloaded from the App Store) and this website. You agree not to copy or reverse-engineer the app except as allowed by law, interfere with the Services, use them unlawfully, or present CelestMap as medical, therapeutic, guaranteed outcomes, or professional astrological advice.

4. Your content

Charts, reflections, and Ask questions you enter stay on your device by default. You are responsible for what you write. Optional Pro iCloud Continuity, if you attach it, uses your private iCloud for saved chart profiles as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your practice notes.

5. In-app purchases

CelestMap may be used without a subscription (one saved chart and a complete Sky Sit loop). Optional Pro features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple (StoreKit). Current US reference prices published on this website: $5.99 per month and $49.99 per year. Apple shows the live price, period, and auto-renew terms on the paywall before you purchase. Payment, billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and the Standard EULA. Manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Restore purchases from Settings in the app.

We do not receive your full payment card number. Website prices are a US reference and may differ by territory. Apple’s paywall is authoritative.

6. Apple

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these website Terms and is not responsible for the Services except as required by Apple’s own rules. CelestMap is an iOS app; we do not currently offer an Android app or Mac app.

7. Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Insights and Ask are grounded in what the natal engine computed and what you log; they are not professional advice. Birth time unknown suppresses houses and angles — they are not guessed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
